Position Summary

Purdy Powers & Company is seeking a Senior Auditor for our Portland office. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for an assigned group of clients in various industries and delivery of a full range of services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform and oversee all areas of audit, review & compilation engagements. Advise on accounting related issues as needed. Prepare and/or review areas of financial statements as appropriate. Consult on a variety of accounting/audit issues and carry out the related research. Proactively interact with key client management to make business and accounting recommendations. Supervise, train/develop and assess the performance of accounting associates. Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards. Perform other accounting and tax compliance related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

2-3 plus years of auditing experience with a public accounting firm. Strong audit compliance and accounting skills. Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills. Solid interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high-energy environment. Leadership ability with a positive team player attitude.

Education Requirements

Degree in Acccounting or equivalent experience. CPA license a plus.
